To see a spark of magic inside of a computer is to be a programmer. Throughout the brief history of computing, the popular imagination of what and who a programmer is keeps changing, but the core truth the programmer - to understand computing as a verb, something made, to understand that making as a journey, to understand oneself as lost and found in how machines behave and surprise us - that hasn’t changed very much.
