Blank Check began as a joke about itself - a parody deep dive into the The Phantom Menace, one of the shallowest movies ever made. The hosts have a brilliant understanding and powerful love of movies. Now parody plays in and around that serious understanding and love.

Like Clueless, the podcast now works on both levels. Griffin is Cher. David is Cher's dad. Ben is Elton. The occasional celebrity guest is Paul Rudd.
