The suit of swords represent the reflexive, universal quality of computing: the possibility to store programs as data, of machines that simulate other machines. The ninth of a suit is the thing in perfect balance, embedded in the real world of energy and ideas. An editor is a program that humans use to make something on a computer: Adobe Photoshop, or Microsoft Word. One of the things that people use editors for is making computer programs. It as program that a human spirit can use to make another program. The best editors were made in early versions of themselves.
